Before you create a shoppable post for your business, it is important that you connect your Facebook page with jumper and add a product on jumper with necessary details.

Adding your products is fun, let us walk you through it. We will also highlight some key aspects for your understanding and making sure you benefit the most out of jumper.

Go to the Products menu, under which you will see add new:

Add a beautiful image of your product by clicking the big + sign. Following Facebooks guidelines to make sure it looks great in the purchase journey, add the image with ratio of 2:1

i.e. width=2 and height=1.

Now let's give this product a name, for e.g. Manchester United away jersey

You then choose an appropriate hashtag, for e.g. #phonecase

There's a product webpage created automatically, for example to make it easy for you to sell on e-mail, embedding in blogs and a whole lot more. Do check it out

Add a description - with all relevant details, more pictures, videos, etc. we recommend to keep this short, simple and to the point to avoid distractions.

If your product has variations - such as size, color, flavours(ice-creams), flower types etc.. follow the steps as shown below:

The image above for example we've selected same price, tax, weight. Key in the details, add images for variations if you'd like and move to the next step. The variations can be edited at any point in time for the product as Products -> Manage Products -> Select product -> Edit

You can toggle on/off the option to allow your customers to pass special instructions; such as Engrave initials, please call before delivery, etc.

You can also toggle on/off if you're allowing your customers to buy more than 1 quantity of your product.

Lastly, we can toggle whether this product should be visible on your shop page. Often we've seen merchants switch it off when they're selling premium products.

With that we reach the best part of embedding all the details keyed in above into your product hashtag, which in this case is #phonecase

Did we tell you, you also have a magic message link? It's this link- This will trigger messenger from anywhere to begin the product buying process for your potential customers. Check it out. :)

We're working hard to get combination of products to be purchased. For e.g. 1 Medium and 2 Large T-shirts from the example above.

Note: For every product added on jumper, two links would be created:

Magic link- enabling purchase from the messenger directly. For example

Webbot link: enabling purchase from web and messenger would not be mandatory for it.

The webbot link would be nothing but the magic link without /m.

For example

By now, you must've already added a product on jumper. If not, no worries. See it here: Adding a product

It is key to educate your users on how to buy through various means jumper offers.

A call-to-action that works really well, we'll break it down per social media channel to help you get a clearer understanding.

Here's a quick run-through:

You can share the product from jumper's dashboard only once you've created the product and linked the Facebook account with jumper.

The Facebook account can be linked as follows: Sales channels -> Facebook (connect)

Once connect is clicked, the brand page has to be added.

Note:  Please follow the steps below in case of error received while adding the brand page.

a. Disconnect FB and Messenger from jumpers dashboard

b. Go to> settings-> apps-> delete jumper

c. Login back to jumper-> connect facebook-> give permissions-> connect messenger-> choose your page-> DONE.

Once the account has been linked, the product can be shared by following: Products -> Manage Product -> Share

Now, you click the Facebook icon, you'll be re-directed to a page which has the default text for post written for you already. Hit share and that's it.

Sharing on groups is enabled by the magic message link, this upon click fires up the sales in messenger.

This link can be shared everywhere - your profile, e-mails, sms, whatsapp, embedded it on your website, blogs etc.

Experience the demo by clicking here to see the magic.

Last but not the least, you could even tell your users to message the product hashtag on your page messenger. See screenshot below

Once done, they instantly receive a message in messenger, enabling them to pay and checkout from the messenger itself. The users will receive the receipt there and as well as on their email.
